What our students think
A far more rewarding and enjoyable experience than I ever expected!
Taking Italian lessons had always been a goal of mine, but I struggled to find the right fit. With an Italian speaking family and regular visits to Italy, I had a good understanding of basic Italian but lacked confidence in speaking due to grammar issues. Other tutors I tried were either too basic or too conversational, without enough focus on grammar and sentence structure which was where I needed the most help.
I was introduced to Francesca by a family member and from our first meeting, her warm and encouraging demeanor made me feel comfortable asking for help. She quickly assessed my needs and tailored every lesson to suit my skill level. The content has never felt too basic, and I can genuinely hear my progress each week.
Francesca is uplifting, encouraging, and a joy to work with. She’s made learning Italian a far more rewarding and enjoyable experience than I ever expected.

Bring me joy
The one thing I can count on each week to bring me joy is my Italian lesson with Francesca. Simply put – she is fantastica! Francesca is encouraging, kind, and charismatic. Her lessons are seamlessly designed between conversation, grammar, and good old-fashioned fun. Before you know it two hours have quickly flown by and we are saying, “Buona Sera.” My commitment to learning Italian with Francesca, without a doubt, has no end in sight!

Fantastic teacher – so kind and patient!
I’ve been studying Italian with Francesca for almost two years! She is a fantastic teacher – so kind and patient. We have a class group that has been learning and advancing together and she really makes learning Italian fun. As I’ve worked through new challenging concepts and need a bit of extra help to overcome a complex topic, she really meets me where I am in my learning to make sure we conquer the topic together before moving forward. I’m at an Intermediate level now, moving into Advanced soon – I’m able to read and understand a lot and have gotten so much more comfortable with speaking while I’m in Italy. I feel confident I’ll be in a great place when my husband and I retire in Italy! I highly recommend studying with Francesca!
